AfricaScope is working with Trialogue in the development of a Google Earth based application that will show where private corporations are allocating their social investment funds.
Funds for the development of the application is being provided by the Business Trust. The application will also provide key layers of socio-economic information to enable corporate to see whether the social investment funds are being allocated to the neediest areas. This information will also enable them to identify where they should invest future funds to address the needs of the impoverished. Read Mail & Guardian article.
