Royal Bafokeng Nation: In 2012 AfricaScope conducted a Population and Use of Land Audit (PULA) and a socio-economic and health survey for the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN). PULA involved mapping every structure and then conducting a census of every household in the nation. The survey was conducted among 650 households where detailed information on the socio-economic status and health of households was collected. Athropometric measurements and HIV prevalence testing was done on qualifying individuals.
World Bank: Members of AfricaScope are advising the World Bank in the implementation of Citizen Report Cards in Ghana and Sierra Leone. The Citizen Report Cards focus on service delivery in Accra, Ghana and the fisheries industries in Ghana and Sierra Leone. The focus of the project is to establish the sample frame, undertake the sample design and weighting, overseeing the field work, doing the analysis and report writing as well as mapping the survey data.
